The Friends of Porus Association's mission revolves around actively participating and working diligently to enhance our community. Education and health are two pillars upon which a thriving community is built. Our committees drive the initiatives that make Porus an even better place to live and grow.
Student Affairs, Scholarship & Grants Committee
Awards scholarships, grants, and educational resources — including the Mrs. Verona Campbell-Ricketts Scholarship — to students in Porus.
Senior Citizens, Community & Wellness Committee
Runs the annual Christmas senior citizen care package program, the Porus Health Fair, and community wellness outreach.
Budget & Finance Committee
Oversees fundraising, financial planning, and transparent stewardship of every dollar donated.
Public Relations Committee
Manages press releases, media partnerships, and communication with the Porus diaspora worldwide.
