This committee shall be responsible for considering advising and marshaling the Association’s resources for the purpose of assisting the senior citizens and needy citizens of the community of Porus. This committee will also research and present to the Association, sound opportunities to invest in the development and upkeep of the infrastructure of the community of Porus.

Initiatives

During our planning for 2024, we will ensure that this site is updated with information about the activities we have in store.

Annual Health Fair – Typically during the summer our committee hosts a community health fair at the Porus Health Center. Free health checks, mental health screenings, and overall wellness evaluation for students and seniors.

Holiday Senior Gift Basket – During the Christmas holidays, we extend a helping hand by providing food and essential supplies, including soap and toothpaste, to seniors within our community who are facing employment challenges or experiencing limited mobility. This initiative not only aims to brighten their festive season but also to ensure their well-being and comfort during this special time of the year. It’s a heartwarming way for us to come together as a community and show our support for those who may be in need.
