Purpose of The Friends of Porus Association Inc.
Provide charitable assistance to the senior citizens and other needy citizens of the town of Porus.
Provide assistance for community projects.
Provide financial support for schools and other educational activities through gifts, scholarships, subsidies, grants, and awards. Provide other non-financial support such as workshops, training, sports gear, books, and other educational materials.
Promote and encourage a high level of loyalty and pride for the town of Porus among the members of the Association by organizing social events, reunions, and fundraising events

Making a Difference in Porus, Manchester, JM.
The Friends of Porus will have a picnic with the Community of Porus Diaspora in Fort Lauderdale on August 17, 2024, for our annual gathering. If your friends and family live in Fort Lauderdale or if you’d like to join us from elsewhere, please stay tuned to this page for more details. This is a fundraising event, and we kindly ask for a $10 contribution per person. The proceeds from this event will be distributed to the community of Porus. Thank you for your support!
